Terms & Conditions
1. Who you’re buying from
Wepista is a business name used by Oliomedia, a private trader registered in Finland. When you order from wepista.com your contract is with Oliomedia. “We”, “us” and “Wepista” below all mean Oliomedia.
Oliomedia
Business ID: 2574827-7
VAT: FI25748277
Tietokatu 6, 94600 Kemi, Finland
Placing an order means you’ve read and accepted these terms. Ordering on behalf of a company? Then you’re confirming you’re allowed to commit it.
2. Licences
Yearly licences run for 12 months from purchase and carry updates and support for that period. Your tier sets how many sites the licence covers. We’ll remind you before it’s due to renew. Let it lapse and the plugin carries on working — you just stop receiving updates and support until you renew.
Lifetime licences are a single payment with no recurring fee.
- Updates: for the life of the plugin. No time limit, no renewal.
- Support: 12 months from purchase. After that your licence and your updates carry on exactly as before — you just can’t open support tickets. You can add another year of support at any time for €X.
“Lifetime” here means the plugin’s life, not yours or ours. Updates run until one of these happens, and no longer: we stop developing the plugin as a viable product; WordPress or WooCommerce stops being actively developed; or Oliomedia stops trading. If we sell or transfer a plugin we’ll pass these commitments to the new owner wherever we can.
Your key is yours alone. Don’t publish it, resell it, or hand it round. Selling the business the plugin runs on and want the licence to go with it? Email us and we’ll move it across. We can deactivate keys we find being used outside these terms.
3. Getting your plugin
Once your payment clears we’ll email you an order confirmation and your account details for wepista.com. Your downloads and your licence key both live in that account, and you can grab them whenever you like.
Nothing arrives? Check spam, then email [email protected] and we’ll sort it.
Re-downloads stay open while your licence is valid. If a licence lapses, download access pauses until you renew.
4. Automatic updates
While your licence is active and your key is valid, updates arrive through the WordPress dashboard like any other plugin — security patches, bug fixes, and new features as we build them.
We test against the two most recent major releases of WordPress and WooCommerce. Each product page lists specifics.
5. Support
Support runs on an active licence. Email [email protected] — Finnish and English, Mon–Fri, 9–16 EET. We aim to reply within one business day, though that’s a target rather than a promise unless we’ve signed something saying otherwise.
Covered:
- questions before you buy
- installation help
- using the plugin and its documented features
- bugs in our code — we’ll fix them
- working out whether a conflict is coming from us
Not covered:
- setting the plugin up and configuring it for you
- custom PHP, JavaScript or CSS
- restyling to match your theme
- your host, your theme, or other plugins
- code you or someone else has modified
Plenty of that we’re glad to quote for separately — just ask.
Before you write in, the documentation is worth two minutes.
6. What we do and don’t promise
Our plugins work on a clean, supported install of WordPress and WooCommerce at the versions we list. That’s the promise, and we stand behind it.
Beyond that: the WordPress ecosystem is enormous, and we can’t test against every theme, plugin, host and browser combination in it. We don’t warrant our plugins are compatible with all of them, and we’re not responsible for conflicts that third-party code causes. Where one crops up we’ll usually help anyway — but that’s goodwill, not obligation.
Keep backups. Test updates on staging before they hit production. We can’t take responsibility for data lost during installation or use.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, in no event are we liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss of any kind — lost data, lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, downtime — arising out of using, or being unable to use, anything we sell. That holds however the claim is framed.
8. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are shown in euros or US dollars — you can switch at checkout / we set this from your location. Whichever you pay in is the currency of your contract, and the currency we refund in.
- Consumers in the EU — the price includes VAT at your own country’s rate, which we account for under the EU One Stop Shop scheme.
- Businesses in Finland — Finnish VAT (25.5 %) on top.
- Businesses elsewhere in the EU with a valid VAT number — reverse charge, so you handle the VAT. The number you give us is your responsibility.
- Outside the EU — no EU VAT from us. Anything local is yours.
Payment goes through Stripe or PayPal; we never see your full card details. Invoices are emailed.
On exchange rates: if your card or bank account runs in a different currency from the one you paid in, your provider sets the rate — both on the way out and on the way back. A refund returns the same amount in the same currency you paid, so what it’s worth to you on the day may not be exactly what left your account originally. That gap is your provider’s, not ours.
We can change prices whenever we like for new orders. For a licence you already hold, a new price only bites at your next renewal, and we’ll tell you at least 30 days beforehand — cancel before then if it doesn’t suit.
9. Renewing and cancelling
Yearly licences renew automatically. We’ll email you at least 14 days before each one with the date and the amount.
Cancel whenever you want at wepista.com/my-account or by emailing [email protected]. It’s as easy as subscribing was — no phone call, no retention maze. Cancelling stops the next payment.
10. Refunds
Money-back guarantee. If a plugin isn’t working out, contact us within 14 days of first buying it and we’ll refund you. We’d like a shot at fixing the problem first, but we won’t make you.
It doesn’t stretch to:
- renewals — that’s what the reminder email is for
- licence upgrades — moving up a tier isn’t a new purchase
- requests made more than 14 days after the original purchase
- a second helping — the guarantee is good once per customer
Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency you paid in. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights that can’t be excluded by agreement. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
11. Email
We’ll email you about your orders, your licences, and renewals — that’s part of the service. We may also send occasional product news. That kind you can switch off any time, at no cost to you, and it changes nothing about your licence. Your address is never sold or passed on.
12. Changes to these terms
We can update this page. The version live when you place an order is the one that governs it. For licences already running, we’ll email you about material changes 30 days ahead. If you’d rather not accept them: yearly licence holders can cancel before they take effect and we’ll refund the remainder of the term. Lifetime licence holders keep the licence they bought — we won’t apply a change that cuts back what a lifetime licence already entitles you to.
13. Severability
If any part of this turns out to be unenforceable, everything else still holds.
